Hey, I’m Dona — writer, reader, software engineer, and an overthinker. I was born in 2000 and grew up journaling my feelings and writing true crime retellings on Medium. Dear Life, We Need To Talk About Me is my first book (still a manuscript) — a collection of personal essays from an anxious young adult to others who are just trying to make sense of it all. This space is where I talk about the books I read, what moved me, what didn’t, and everything in between. No polished reviews — just honest thoughts, quiet rants, and a whole lot of book talk. I’ve found that the most genuine things I’ve ever said started out as messy little drafts I wasn’t sure I’d share — until I did. And that’s what I hope this space becomes too.
